Gift Aid
If you are a taxpayer you can increase the value of your weekly donation by enabling the church to claim 25 pence for each pound you give – just by filling in a short form! To do this you will need to be the holder of offertory envelopes (see below) or make your payment by standing order. This is a simple way to increase parish funds. Offertory Envelopes
This is a means of encouraging you to give money each week to the parish and also allows your donation to be anonymous. You become a number! None of the counters are aware of who the holders are of the specific envelopes. Each year at the end of March you will see the new boxes of envelopes arrive. Each year some of the boxes of envelopes go unused, either a person has moved out of the parish or no longer attends the church.
